Dudsbury – “set in 160 acres of beautiful Dorset countryside”

I have fond memories of Dudsbury. Maybe it’s because I clinched my title there on the Sunday of the 2005 Tour. Or perhaps it's because we finally had some nice weather that day. Or perhaps it’s simply a good course.

(Dudsbury won Golf Club of the Year 2011 – as awarded by Club Mirror apparently).

The first has a nice downhill drive to get things rolling, the second is a par three over water, then I go a bit blank. The 16th is the signature hole apparently where you cross water twice. I must have blocked that from my memory! The 17th is uphill to a sloping green and there’s a two-tiered green waiting at the last.

Best scores:

30 points - Kevin (off 13)
29 points - Mark (off 10)
29 points - Simon (off 14)

Are Club Mirror and I right to think this was a good course or am I blinded by glory? Let me know.
