Isle of Wedmore – “One of Somerset’s friendliest clubs”

The course where Kevin clinched his first title was Isle of Wedmore which "benefits from panoramic views of the Mendip Hills, Cheddar Valley, Glastonbury Tor and the Somerset Levels".

The hole that sticks in my memory is the par 3 eighteenth which runs right up to the clubhouse. What I’ve wiped from my memory is three par fives in a row on the back nine. I’d have struggled with that I’m sure.

At least the trees are a bit further from the fairways here. It's a Par 70 and is 5,850 yards long and was founded in 1992 (I'm running out of things to say - can you tell?)

Have a look at the course guide to see if it triggers anything for you to tell me about.
