The Friday course in 2006 on our way to Torquay was Exeter. The only thing I can really remember is spanking my tee shot off the first and giving Kevin a bit of a scare as I’d hit it much further than I thought I could. It was most likely my last decent shot of the round.
The website tells me that The Par 69, 6023 yard golf course is set amongst ancient Oaks, Lime, Redwood and Horse Chestnut trees and with stunning views of Haldon Hill.
Having a quick look at the course guide it looks pretty tight with many trees and bunkers and suiting the straight hitters.
There's no scores from this one to work out how we might have played so I'll appreciate any comments.
